Our Team — Vivaspin

Author cards

  • Each review page carries a byline linking to the author's profile. The profile shows the reviewer's name, a short biography, the brands they have reviewed on this site, their contact email, and dates they last updated each review.

We do not use pen names or stock photos. Every byline is a real person who personally opened the operator account and ran the tests described on the page. If a review is updated by someone other than the original author, both names appear with the dates of their contributions.

Expertise

  • Collectively the team has roughly fifteen years of experience across online casino review, affiliate operations, and gambling-adjacent journalism in the UK and the EU. Two team members hold Gambling Commission Personal Management Licences from previous operator roles — useful context, not a current regulatory status.

We do not claim to be data scientists or lawyers. For statistical analysis of RTP data or legal interpretation of licence conditions we commission external specialists and credit them where their work appears on the site.

How we work

  • New reviews start with a research brief: licence, ownership structure, software stack, payment methods, offer terms, and reader complaints logged elsewhere. The reviewer then opens an account funded with their own money — expense accounts are reimbursed from operating revenue after the review is published.

Testing covers deposit, bonus claim, slot and table play, withdrawal, verification, and support contact. Every step is screenshot and timestamped so figures on the page trace back to real evidence.

Join us

  • We hire occasionally when workload grows. Reviewers need prior experience with online casinos as a player, a clear writing style, and the ability to run a project to a schedule. Fact-checkers need an eye for public filings and a stubborn streak about not accepting claims at face value.

If that sounds like you, send a short note and two recent writing samples to the editorial address on the contact page. We respond to every application within two weeks.

Roles

  • The team is small and functions are clear. The editor commissions and signs off every review, enforces the independence policy, and handles reader complaints. Reviewers open and fund each operator account, run the test deposits and withdrawals, and write the first draft of each page.

A fact-checker verifies licence numbers, operator entity names, software provider lists, and payment speed claims against public filings before publication. A developer maintains the site, the analytics and the security configuration.
